DOUBLE PODIUM FOR SG SNOWBOARDS
Oct 13, 2011, Landgraaf, NL: No one was able to beat our SG riders in this first Parallel Slalom of the season! Roland “Fisch” Fischnaller had the fastest legs, as he wins the race in the “fridge” of Landgraaf. Right after him, there goes Aaron March, teammate from Italy, who also won all his heats, and only was edged out by Fisch. It was a fine result for the SG Teamriders: Strong performance of Patrick Bussler, GER, and Andrey Sobolev, RUS on 6th and 7th place. Also Nevin Galmarini, SUI, Toni Unterkofler, AUT, and the boss Sigi Grabner himself had their first successful appearance in the first WorldCup Finals of this year!

ANDREY SOBOLEV VICTORIOUS AT THE PGS IN SCUOL
The FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup was back in action for its first race of 2020 taking to the slopes of Switzerland’s Scuol resort. After an exciting day of racing under blue skies it was Russia’s Andrey Sobolev claiming victory on the men’s side. Andrey managed to outrun all of his competitors at the parallel giant slalom. He showed a very good performance and a strong run with his FULL RACE PRO TEAM board. We are really happy! Contgrats! Next time Bad Gastein!

A PERFECT DAY FOR IGOR SLUEV & TIM MASTNAK IN SCUOL

The FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup was in full racing mode on the slopes of Scuol (SUI). The young SG PRO TEAM rider Igor Sluev from Russia showed very impressive riding, bringing home a win in PGS for himself and his team. It is Igor’s first World Cup victory. Third place went to our SG PROTEAM rider Tim Mastnak (SLO). Great job! We are very proud of you!

MARION TAKES THE PODIUM
SG rider Marion Kreiner gets 3rd in the ladies’ event. Being the fastest in the qualification, she was unlucky with a slight mistake in the semifinal – and only could fight in the Small Finals for her right to the podium. THE TIME OF MY LIFE
“Thank you for your support and your collaboration”, Alpine snowboarder and SG PRO TEAM rider Elisa Profanter (IT) ends her career after five years on tour. The 20-year-old is looking back on a total of 13 World Cup starts of which an thirteenth rank finish in the PSL in Winterberg 2016 was her best result. In addition, she represented her country in both alpine snowboarding events at the FIS Junior World Championships with an 2nd and 3nd rank.
At the beginning of season 2017-18, Michael Osen and Dominik Raab, both from the Austrian Snowboard team announce their retirement of professional snowboarding. Raab won’t fully leave the world of snowboarding and will take over the role as coach of the Upper Austria team.

FIRST WORLD CUP TITLE FOR TIM MASTNAK

ESTER LEDECKA IS BACK!
Ester Ledecka (CZE) grabs PGS wins in Pyeongchang! At the first of two parallel giant slalom races at the 2018 Olympic venue at PyeongChang’s Bokwang Phoenix Park Ester wins the 1st place. It was truly a special race for her, it was the first snowboard World Cup race since December. Despite spending the first month and a half of 2019 on the Alpine Ski World Cup tour, Ester wouldn’t miss the first competition back at the venue that earned her the status of one of all-time great Olympians last year. “I feel good. It was a great race,” said Ledecka from the awards podium, “A very well-prepared course, so thanks to everybody for that, and thanks to all the fans for such a great atmosphere. It’s fun to be here.” And the next day she earns the 3rd place at the second PGS in Pyeongchang. Awesome!

PGS, SCUOL: 3RD PLACE FOR MILENA BYKOVA

ESTER LEDECKA LOVES THE PODIUM
Returning to snowboard racing for the first time in the current World Cup campaign, Ester Ledecka won second place at her 2019/20 season debut. What an incredible job! She showed how fast she’s able to switch disciplines as she was coming from last weekend’s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup speed event. “It was quite a busy schedule and I only had one day break to get back on snowboard,” said Ester. “Of course I’m very happy with my result here and I would like to thank my team, but also the organisers because they did an amazing job and it was really fun to ride here.” We are so happy! What a thrilling race! The first ever Parallel Team event at the FIS Snowboard Worldcup took place in Montafon and everybody liked it! Roland Fischnaller wins his third race back to back: He takes the victory in the team event with his partner Nadja Ochner, the Russian Sobolev family (Andrey and Natalia) from the SG PRO TEAM take second place, and Japan “Samurai” fighter Masaki Shiba earns his first ever World Cup podium together with Tomoka Takeushi. “When you win, it’s always perfect”, said Tim Mastnak after he takes home the 1st place at the Parallel Giant Slalom at Secret Garden (China). 56 seconds ahead of Andrey Sobolev (RUS) for his second win of the season and the third of his career. SG PRO TEAM rider Andrey Sobolev earns 2nd place and 3rd place goes to Stefan Baumeister (GER).
