ESTER LEDECKÁ TRIUMPHS IN ROGLA PGS

Congrats to our Supergirl! Ester STR Ledecká won the 2016-17 World Cup season’s second parallel giant slalom staged in Rogla (SLO). The  World Cup leader told us about the race: “It’s always tough here as it is an hill which is easy – and that makes is so hard to succeed. All the riders are on the very same level. There are only some very small differences. You have to have a good tech and team behind you and be very good prepared in order to go every run as fast as you can. I don’t have a special secret. I’m just focusing on every single run trying to be the first one down in the finish.” We are very proud and happy!

BIG CRYSTAL GLOBE FOR ESTER LEDECKA

Ester Ledecka (CZE) is the overall world cup winner 2018-19 and takes home the big crystal globe! Ester already had her second-straight and third career a PGS crystal globe locked up before the start of competition on Saturday, but with the second place finish she was able to lead the parallel overall standings as she wins the biggest trophy of the season for the fifth-straight time.
“For sure this year has been tough, because I decided to go to the Alpine Ski world championships and so I had to miss some races at the start of the year,” Ester said with her crystal globe in hand, “But in the end it paid off. I’m happy that I was able to make podiums at every race this season and I think show that I’m one of the best snowboarders in the world. For sure now the overall title is a goal, but first of all I want to have a nice race. I’ve ridden just one slalom this season and I haven’t had a chance to train much slalom, so now I have some days before when I can train and test my boards and see which one is the fastest, finally!” We are so happy! Congratulations!

ESTER LEDECKA LOVES THE PODIUM

Returning to snowboard racing for the first time in the current World Cup campaign, Ester Ledecka won second place at her 2019/20 season debut. What an incredible job! She showed how fast she’s able to switch disciplines as she was coming from last weekend’s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup speed event. “It was quite a busy schedule and I only had one day break to get back on snowboard,” said Ester. “Of course I’m very happy with my result here and I would like to thank my team, but also the organisers because they did an amazing job and it was really fun to ride here.” We are so happy! You are awesome!
