Honestly you might need both. But try a wide snowboard first. I wear a 12 and ride a wide board. I use Ride CAD bdinings, they lift my feet up because they have the pad on them. Get a wide board and riser’s and if you don’t need riser plates return them. The only downside I can think of with riser plates is possibly less responsiveness but it would be really hard to notice on a wide board. Some toe and heel overhang is fine, you are always going to have that.
